Yesterday afternoon, our long serving senior pastor of Peace Church, Christine Erb-Kanzleiter passed away. Nine months ago she was diagnosed with cancer—and despite all treatment, all prayers and all care, her body continually got weaker and even more fragile, caused by the spreading cancer.
We are utterly sad, and our thoughts and prayers are with her family—especially Reiner, Nico and Jacob, all of her close friends, and all who now lost a companion in their journey of life.
We pray to find comfort in the faith that her life is now completed through the Mother and Father of all creation, the Good God who is the beginning and the end. Nevertheless, we are deeply sad and in grief.
A service of remembrance , a 'Celebration of Life' is scheduled for 9 September 2023, 13:30 at Peace Church United Methodist (Philippuskirche, Chiemgaustr. 7, 81549 Munich). If you join the celebration, please do not wear black.

It’s breaking my heart that such a warming, kindhearted and sweet woman had to suffer for so long, but now she’s at peace - she’s painfree ;)
I pray for her family and her close friends to heal from this terrible news.

This women was always so strong and kind. I pray that she will life in Christ and we will find comfort in the church and she will ever be in our memories and we can be happy that we could met her.

I am so sorry to hear that. She along with Reiner were like family for us during our time in Munich. May God comfort our hearts !

I am so sorry to read that Christine passt . I am now suffing in this illness since 2012, but i am still around. IT is a illness that thakes ervthing from one, IT is very hard for her Familie. My sehr Rest in Peace.
